Almost half of these graphs could be retitled: The Industrial Revolution Progresses Further In the Developing World. Lower cost of food production, longer lifespans, better access to health care, improved average nutrition, a shorter work-week, increased literacy, lower teen pregnancy rates: These are all things that are tied to the later stages of the industrial revolution, when a region gets past the sweatshop stage and enters a new, healthier social construct.
