Almost half-way through the cull, we just want to say a huge thank you to all of the people who have been out in the cull zone for the last 3 weeks (and longer in many cases!) Sab groups which have been working in their own autonomous areas and who have been posting their own updates and funding pages are Nottingham Hunt Saboteurs, West Midlands Hunt Saboteurs, Three Counties Hunt Saboteurs, North Wales Hunt Saboteurs, Manchester Hunt Sabs and Liverpool Hunt Sabs. Check out their pages, like them, share their updates and spread the word on the work theyve been doing as well as promoting their funding pages! Cirencester Illegal Hunt Watch are a new group, set up after last years cull (just like North Wales Sabs) but do not have their own bank account or funding page yet. Theyre a small group and dont get to update their page as much as theyd like to, but we can vouch for them that theyre out there and very busy! They, along with a number of other autonomous groups and individuals in the Glos Cull Zone, are in constant need of help with funds to keep them in the zone, as are a number of individuals coming in to help them. Because of these autonomous groups and individuals, a huge amount of the cull zone constantly has someone keeping tabs on it - we cant have someone near every sett, but at least we know who needs help, which setts have been checked regularly and which need a bit of extra attention. They have got to know their areas, locals, know what is suspicious and what is normal in those areas. They are regularly relied on to support their neighbouring groups. Many of them do not have their own group pages as they are just a group of friends with no group name or page. We cant share their status updates like we can with established sab groups, but they are out there doing just as much work.
