Aloha FOE! Well, we are back in our hometown of Hilo...but sadly only for one day. The Pacific Princess made her way from Vancouver at a leisurely 13 knots, and six days later, he we are in Hawaii Nei! For those who have never taken one of the smaller Princess ships, I heartily recommend it. Yes, there is no MUTS, or International Cafe, or laser and smoke in the showrooms...but there is a family atmosphere and intimate feeling that you just cant get on the larger ships. Hula class is a roaring success, and even though we only have 20 ukes on the ship, we have two classes running concurrently, and we are having a great time learning. We perform each night in the Casino Lounge, which is a very small and intimate room that seats about thirty at most. It has been SRO each set, and we can thank cruise director David Bradshawe for scheduling us in there. We will do a little video tour of the lounge in the coming days and post it here. Anyway, we just finished a wonderful meal of Korean Fried Chicken, Char Siu ribs and of course rice...local food the way we love it! Hope you are all having a Mai Kai Day! Aloha No!
