Aloha! Happy New Years Eve! It is shaping up to be a really nice day out there. The sun is shining and the temperature is risin, time to get into the ocean and explore, or get that round of golf in, either is a great way to wrap up 2014. The waves are rather large on the north shore but it looks great on the east and south sides. Please check with the lifeguard before entering the water. Here is the surf report for today: North & West shores topping the surf heights in the 10-14 range and declining. Choppy, onshore conditions with Northerly wind-flow through the forecast. Calmer & nice conditions on South & East facing shores. Always use caution - esp. when unfamiliar & help is a long way away. Recommended lifeguarded beaches: Kealia, Lydgate, Poipu, Salt Pond.
