Aloha and good morning! The morning showers have just finished up here at Kalapaki and it is looking nice out there now. The surf report has come out for today and it looks like the southern swell has gone down quite a bit making bot the north and south shores great for snorkeling. South & West facing shores topping the surf heights in the 3-6 range and slowly declining. Small West swell. Easterly wind & choppy wind-swell affecting all East exposed areas. Calmest at sheltered North shore spots like Kee, Hanalei. Always use caution - esp. when unfamiliar & help is a long way away. Recommended lifeguarded beaches: Kee, Haena, Hanalei, Kealia, Lydgate. Outlook to Tues. July 22: Consistent Easterly winds & wind-swell through this week. South swell lingering to Friday. You can find the ocean report at kauaiexplorer
