Aloha, earlier today, we went to see our grandchildren leave for Pago Pago, American Samoa. It seemed like it was only yesterday, when they were sleeping in the same crib, feet to feet and they were close growing up. We cared for them and their parents nurtured them. Now, Andrew is almost 18 and Merrissa is 17 years old. To watch them leaving to travel this far on their own was indeed an eye opener for me. It is time to release them so that they may grow.... Why then if we know that.....it is hard to do so. We already miss them and we know that they will be fine. I guess that it is true that Alicia and I are actually becoming biologically mature and they are just beginning to mature. Oh, well
