Along with the Anchorage Municipailitys Citywide Cleanup, JBER conductd Operation CLEAN SWEEP here last week. Thanks to the joint team effort, over 12,000 facilities and public spaces were cleaned up. Over a ton of debris was collected on the airfield -- debris which could have easily damaged an aircraft, hurt an Airmen, or even led to a Class A mishap. A special thanks went to the base FOD Manager, TSgt Aaron Dickinson, and the various POCs below who made the day a huge success, including the 176 WG POC, MSgt Steve Cherry of the 176 Maintenance Group.
