... Along with the UK, France, Russia and China, the United States made a step in the right direction in their attempt at working out a deal with Iran. If the deal seems to be the right one, why is their [sic] so much backlash from Republicans even though the majority of the American people support the deal? Republicans have been giving President Obama grief since he was sworn into office in January of 2009 and they havent let their foot off the gas ever since. If Republicans are truly upset about the deal President Obama helped put together, they must not forget their own past when it comes to dealing with Iran and they should start at the door step of their favorite administration, Ronald Reagan. > It was known as the Iran-Contra scandal and it helped to cast an already dark shadow on Ronald Reagan and his administration.
