Along with the rest of the country, Khwahishein foundation Kolkata celebrated Childrens day with great Enthusiasm, commemorating the 125th birth anniversary of Indias first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. We celebrated this auspicious day at Welfare Society for Children in a very delightful manner. As part of the celebration, the children came up with various lively dance performances in our presence. The children performed with exemplary happiness which tempted us to join them in their dance. It became more like a festival for them as there were a range of innovative and fun filled activities like we even played fire in the mountain ! During the visit, our team also handed over chocolates, cakes, chips , frooty and various other collectibles. Hence, we had the best childrens day till date. In a way we also celebrate childrens day to empower the future of children.
