Just stick one in the microwave for 1-2 minutes for up to an hour of heat or keep one in the freezer to use as a perfect temperature ice pack Cold compresses are good for good for sprains, strains, bumps, and bruises that may occur in sports or lifting. Apply cold packs or ice bags to injured areas for no more than 20 minutes at a time, removing the cold for 10 minutes and reapplying it again. Hot compresses are good for stiff joints or chronic muscle and joint pain (Or if its cold and you just want something to warm you up). Perfect for yourself or a gift for someone else.
