Alright. 10 facts you may not know about me as challenged by Auntalaya. 1. I really struggle with social anxiety. People often ask me at busy restaurants or parties if Im ok and my default response is Im just tired, but thats usually not it. I like people but get easily overwhelmed. 2. Homeschooling my kids has turned out to be the biggest blessing ever, but if you had asked me a year ago I would have told you I would never do it. 3. Despite a very extensive knowledge of the dangers of processed foods, I am a complete junk food junkie. 4. I am a really bad housekeeper. My husband keeps me from drowning in cleaning responsibilities. 5. We currently own 67 chickens. Many are very young, some are meat birds and some are to sell. But 67. Thats a lot of chickens. 6. This year has probably been one of the most monumental of my life. From now until I die, I will always remember 2014 has the year God got my attention and started to show me who He really is. 7. I was a very sick kid due to a birth defect in my urinary tract. My natural mindedness and favor towards holistic medicine is spurred by a childhood full of hospital visits, antibiotics and invasive procedures. 8. Because of said illnesses, I was told at the age of 16 that I had so much scar tissue in my kidneys that I would likely be on dialysis by the age of 30 and that I would never carry a baby to term. When I was 18, I went into a spirit filled church in a shopping mall in Waller,TX. A woman preached a message on healing and said God showed her a young woman with afflictions in her lower back that would be healed that day. It was me. At like last VCUG, my urinary tract system was completely normal. No scar tissue, no sign of any birth defects. 9. Im expecting my 5th son in March. Which most people know. The unknown part of this fact is that I had a dream when I was pregnant with Toby that I had another baby one year later (Ezra) and then had a boy named Benjamin 3 years later. I assumed this meant 3 years after Ezra. We scheduled a vasectomy before conceiving but cancelled it because it just didnt feel right. And in spite of prevention, found out shortly after that we were expecting this baby...3 years to the day after I was due with Toby. His name will be Benjamin. 10. As soon as i am able to, I want as tattoo of 5 arrows to represent my sons. Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior’s hands. How joyful is he whose quiver is full of them.
