Alright I never do this but I feel like it needs to be said. The reason why our Sun shines is due to hydrogen atoms fusing together. That being said, all stars live and die, just like humans, but unlike humans stars explode when they die. When they explode, they scatter all of the enriched guts that was once in the center of the star across the Universe. What does this mean? The hydrogen used to fuel the star to begin with is the same hydrogen that binds with oxygen to make up the water in your body. The carbon in our cells, the iron in our blood, and the calcium in our bones were all created by the countless supernova explosions across the Universe.
