Alright Im going to say this. It may not be popular but I dont care its my right. Terrible things happen everyday in law enforcement. From writing BS code enforcement to flat out murder. There are a lot more good things that go on daily than these miniscule events that get Fanned by media outfits. How often do you see a police officer helping out a man with Alzheimers get flowers for his wifes anniversary which he thinks is today. Or a arrest of a wanted Felon who takes no consideration for anyone they come across. Or even a officer who checks you for warrants after a oh crap I was going so fast I did not see you stop. Than that officer says you seem alright just slow it down . But these events happen more than the black eyes that the news and social media fan daily. We hire human beings as law enforcement. Just like any service industry you get great and not so great. But you hardly see the hidden cams at Fridays when you got the wrong order or undercooked food. Its hard work to work for bosses and clients in the service industry. Now strap a badge and a gun on and tell a client they are wrong. But do it politely and lawfully. Along with the possibility that the client may want to hurt or kill you. So take this into consideration next time you see law enforcement. Its a tuff service industry job with lots of responsibility and down falls. Not every one is a people person nor do they need to serve the public. Even more not everyone can be a cop or should be one. So next time you want to bad mouth law enforcement think of the above. If they are so bad then why would you call them or tolerate them on the streets. So put yourself in there shoes and maybe say thanks for keeping us safe. I am sure that they dont hear that as often as how bad they are. Just a thought
