Alright Party People, Since I am both a Long Beach Home Brewer and a Brewlu I figured that at some point the two clubs would come together....and battle it out to the death!!! Well, most likely not death, but there will be a winner. And to determine that winner I have put together the Beer Bracket Brew-off. Its a simple 8 LBHB vs. 8 Brewlu bracket tournament with everyone brewing the same style beer to see who comes out on top. The winner will receive bragging rights, a trophy and the endless accolades of their peers. There can be only one! Each club will need to provide 8 brewers and 4 judges. Each brewer will need to provide 4 bottled beers to ensure there is enough to make it to the final round - there will be a total of 4 rounds, obviously, judged in a very informal style. This aint PAC cup, is what I am trying to say. The best beer wins, period. There will be small $5 entry fee just to cover the basics, most likely including a little something to snack on. Date/Time/Location/beer style are all TBD. We really need to make sure that we have the numbers to do this. Please let me know in the thread below if its something that you would like to participate in. I will put together a list of email addresses so that all of the unknowns can be worked out together.
