Alright, all of you TRUCKIES will get a kick out of this... Stephen Brezler, Ronald Horn, Bob Daley and the rest of you. How many times have we had to raise a ground ladder by ourselves? I just watched a program on the National Geographic Channel about Ankor Watt in Cambodia. There was a group of Cambodians clearing saplings from various places high up on the shrine. They worked bare footed; and when they stood the ladder up they used their toes to guide it, and hold it in place. And when the rappelled, they used their toes as well, to balance themselves. The first thing I thought of was Steve and how he was always a stickler on procedure when it came to truck work. Im not too sure Id want to Rappel barefooted; rope burns between the toes could get rough.
