Alright, confession time! I really let a telemarketer have it today. Im not always nice. We get these calls in the office all the time. Usually the girls will let me have the call if I need to get rid of some frustration. They can be so darn persistent! So today, I was a bit edgy, and he was trying to sell something to do with debit machines. To be honest, I didnt listen to him much. After I had the chance (he wouldnt even stop to breath) I told him I wasnt interested. Normally, I would hang up. But I stayed on the line, not listening, but thinking hes going to be exhausted after his shift if he treats all his calls like this, and when he finally stopped talking I let loose. Told him that his sales pitch was brutal, he didnt listen to me, and he only continued on with his verbal diarrhea (yes, thats how I worded it). He thanked me for my critique and then I hung up. All in all, it was productive. He got constructive criticism, and I got to be brutally honest. If it was you, Im sorry! ;)
