Alright everybody, Ive been talking about this for a little while and am finally ready to organize a small getaway for whomever is interested. Id like to do a ride to Madison, Indiana on November 1st and stay overnight just that day. Its an easy ride (45 miles of 50-60mph backroads) of beautiful roads. Wed leave here around 10am and get there, easily, before noon. After getting there we can check in at The Riverboat Inn (Super cool and cheap hotel right on the river). The rate is $75 for the night and they usually have live music and a bonfire at night on the weekend. After dropping gear, we can ride approximately 3-5 miles to Clifty Falls Park and go on an easy hike to the outlook there, which is really pretty. Afterwards, we can roll back to the hotel and then walk to any of the little wineries there for lunch, tasting, etc... The town has a really cool main street and some good eateries for dinner too. We did this with a few people 2 years ago and had an awesome time. We would cruise back to Louisville at a leisurely pace the next day before noon. Theres plenty of rooms available currently and Im trying to get a little head count. Also, like last time, you could drive up in your car if your bike is non-functional or whatever. Itd be great to have a bunch of us out of the city. You can PM me or just let me know on this thread. Ill be making an event page in the next few days, which will be easier for everyone to say yay or nay, but I just wanted to give a heads up. Ill be going regardless. The ride and the town is amazing in the fall. Hope yall can make it too, Aaron
