Alright everyone here is a letter from a friend that will be an outreach for the homeless on Thanksgiving day. If you are interested and want more info please send an email to [email protected]. Here is the letter: Good morning Everyone, I must say, my heart is so pleased with the outpouring of responses from those of you that can participate on Thanksgiving Day. I have an update for each of you. When The Lord gives me an update I immediately give it to you all. So here is what we have so far: When: November 28, 2013 Thanksgiving Day Where: Corner Parking Lot of Trinity Avenue SW and Peachtree steet SW (Those of you that live north of Atlanta, please meet me at the Victory World Church parking lot at 5:00 a.m. we will carpool in a van) Why: Simple. Because there are too many lost souls. God placed it on my heart to accomplish this mission with those of you who would participate What to bring: Essential articles of clothing specifically winter gear, i.e. gloves, scarfs, coats, jackets, blankets, rain-coats, boots, socks, thermal-wear, umbrellas ANYTHING TO KEEP THEM WARM & DRY Ive decided to visit the Goodwill, Salvation Army and all of my closets to gather all and I mean all that can be given away. Please consider all of your extra apparel for those in most need. The Lord told me very simply, This is mission is an easy mission. Simply give back to the poor. He wants us to pray that these souls are set free from strongholds and that The Lord would cleanse their hearts in order to return them back to Him. Thank you for all that you do for the body of Christ. Even in your giving, youre serving The Kingdom of Heaven. Matthew 25:40....The King will reply, Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brother and sisters of mine, you did for me. Matthew 25:35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, Psalm 107:8-12 Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things. Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, prisoners in affliction and in irons, for they had rebelled against the words of God, and spurned the counsel of the Most High. So he bowed their hearts down with hard labor; they fell down, with none to help. Philippians 4:19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Psalm 34:17-20 When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.
