Alright everyone, we had a long day but we made it to and from Chapel hill safely. We did learn some new things today from the doctor but we will not be returning there for a while. Until we get her insurances in order, and she gets rid of more fluid, gets down in her BMI, and gets more mobile there is nothing more that they can do. However we are currently going in the right directions to get her to where she needs to be so we will continue to do what we have been doing and fighting. When she has everything in order I then will notify the transplant clinic and they will schedule her visit and then they will do their check to see if she is able to have the transplant. They just want to make sure if they give her the liver that she will survive the surgery. So thank you to everyone for their prayers and please keep them coming. We will in the mean time be working with her local specialists, she will be starting pt soon to help her as well and working on eating a more balanced diet. I myself will continue the fight with these insurance companies. But it was not a completely wasted trip, like I said we did learn some new things to help mom better. Thanks again everyone for the prayers and I will notify everyone with further updates and events that come up.
