Alright folks. Heres the latest: Went to the Pediatrician today. Everything seems roses. K-RO now weighs 5 pounds and 9 ounces. Last Tuesday when we had her very first follow-up she was 5.1. So in a week she gained 8 oz. I am pretty happy with this progress. One of the labs came back and from what I could gather, it hinted at some metabolic issue. We are waiting on the results from more tests that were done during Rosies stay in the NICU. We also discussed the breast milk vs. formula situation for those of you who were aware of that issue. I have decided to adhere to the if it aint broke dont fix it! adage. I am going to continue to formula feed her. As much as I looked forward to nursing, it just doesnt seem to be in the cards this time and if it is, its a risky card in my opinion. She is otherwise well. My love to all family. And thank you Nana for the card. : ) It was very thoughtful.
