Alright, folks, so here is all the stuff that is going on in my corner of the FMT world... I am working fast and furiously on the Level 1 Study Guide and will be starting the Level 2 Study Guide as soon as I can. These are AWESOME resources that will be given to all participants in 2014 seminars, nationally and internationally. The Level 1 guide came together FAST and now its time to clean it up and massage it into something really excellent, so the goal is to have these ready to give to course participants starting next month, I hope! These have all the concepts in the course, pictures, step by step instructions for each taping framework with photos and descriptions of variations, etc etc. Covers pain in every region (low back/neck/spine, shoulder, upper extremity, knee, lower extremity and foot), edema control taping, posture taping, neuro taping and scar taping. Each section has all the concepts outlined and there are spaces for your notes throughout the guide. The guide follows along in the same order as the PowerPoints your instructor will be using, too! References throughout and I think there were over 30 references with most of them being from 2011-2013, so this is current stuff! Youre going to love it! Next up I will have an article on taping the low back in a Feb. issue of Dynamic Chiropractic, so be on the lookout for that, which is sure to be the first of many! So far I am slated to teach FMT Level 1 and Level 2 in St Louis (Chesterfield), MO in Feb and in Portland, OR in April, with more to come. Registration details on the RockTape website. And finally, who knows when well get to have another FMT Level 1 and Level 2 training in Kansas City, and Im sorry about the last-minute timing of this, but Dr. Steve Capobianco, co-developer of FMT and a great instructor, will be in KC at what looks like an AWESOME facility doing FMT Level 1 and Level 2 this weekend, Dec. 7-8.
