Alright for todays match up we have the notorious Bounty Hunter Dengar versus the Indomitable Imperial Officer, Gilad Pellaeon! Dengar, also known as Payback, was a notorious Bounty Hunter almost equal to that of Boba Fett. He piloted the Punishing One, a JumpMaster 5000 personal starship. Dengar was also a famous swoop bike racer as well as a bounty hunter and made quite the name for himself in both fields. After a swoop bike accident(courtesy of Han Solo) the Empire rebuilt him as an assassin augmented with various neural implants and cybernetic enhancements making him devoid of all emotion save for rage, despair and hope. Dengar refused an Imperial order and deserted and became a gun for hire. When the bounty was placed on Solo, Dengar relished the chance for Revenge and was also one of the elite hunters hired by Vader to capture the smuggler. Sometime after the fall of Jabba the Hutt, Dengar came across the pit of Carkoon trying to scavenge the wreckage, and managed to save his rival, Boba Fett from the Sarlacc as he made his escape. After Boba was healed, the two formed an unlikely partnership for a time. Gilad Pellaeon served with the naval fleets of the Galactic Republic, Galactic Empire, Imperial Remnant and Galactic Alliance with a long 70 years. He was very seasoned and old fashioned in how he acted and was strict on how his troops acted and made sure they were professional. He is best known for serving as Grand Admiral Thrawns right hand when he was a Captain. He often wondered how the Battle of Endor would have gone if it was Thrawn who had the command instead of Vader. Pellaeon was very capable and served loyally. He continued to be a prominent member of the Imperial Navy for several years after Thrawns fall and was even given the title of Grand Admiral(revised by the Moff Council just for him) and Supreme Commander of the Imperial Forces for his brilliance and years of service. He was highly respected by those who served under him and Thrawn also highly respected him when Pellaeon served as his captain. Pellaeon loved the beauty of battles, the choreography and the challenge of executing everything just right and the challenge of matching wits against a capable opponent. He often said that he carried more Thrawn in him than he thought. Which of these two will come out the winner?
