Alright friends, today I am starting "FALL INTO FITNESS"! I will be posting one fitness challenge every day or so depending on the challenge, as some challenges might last a few days. If you are joining in, comment here and we can help motivate each other. This challenge will last through Thanksgiving! Since we are starting today, I wanted to give you something that will only take 5 minutes. No excuses, every single one of you can do this challenge and fit it in your schedule TODAY! I want you to keep track of this challenge and save it. We will repeat it on the final day of the challenge and hopefully you will see some improvements! If you need any explanations, send me a message. DAY ONE: For all of these exercises, I want you to do as many as you can in one minute. Minute 1: Push ups- You can modify this by doing these on your knees. Keep your booty and hips down! Minute 2: Plyo side lunge switch with touchdown Stand with both feet facing forward, double shoulder-width apart. Hop left leg out and bend knee (keep it behind toes) to come into side lunge; at same time, keeping chest lifted, bring right hand down to tap the floor in front. Push into left foot to hop up; drop into side lunge on opposite side with left hand touching floor; that’s 1 rep Minute 3: Tricep Dips with alternating hand/toe touches Minute 4: Burprees- You can modify this by doing "in and outs" (start in a plank, bring your toes to your hands and back to a plank-repeat) Minute 5: One-armed mountain climber Bend knees and place left hand on floor below center chest; come onto balls of feet. Step right foot forward; extend left leg back. Keeping upper body still, alternate leg positions, landing on both forefeet simultaneously; let right arm move back and forth naturally. GOOD LUCK! Feel free to post your results on this post, so it is easy to find at the end of challenge.
