Alright, here it is. My daughters bedtime routine. Mind you it was the husband that let it get this way as Im normally at work. Take nightly meds. Say goodnight to every living creature in the house. Potty. Brush teeth. Blow nose. Now weve made it to her room.... Sniff air freshener on top shelf. Kiss snow globe on top shelf. Play musical bear on bottom shelf. Kiss snow globe on bottom shelf. Kiss toy snake on bottom shelf. Kiss toy dog on bottom shelf. Kiss piggy bank on top shelf. Drink some water thats waiting for her on bottom shelf. Kiss and play musical bear. Again. Kiss snake. Again. Kiss dog. Again. Kiss bank. Again. Smell air freshener. Again. Kiss dog. Again. Call it pie cake?? Kiss parent holding her. Lay down in bed. All musical toys must be turned off. Toy bunny and bear under right arm. Doc, unicorn, T-Rex and wolfie under left arm. Wolfie closest to body. Now she gets buried by all other toys. No butts facing her face. Covered with big blanket. Covered with small blanket. All 5 musical toys are now allowed to be turned on. Giant toy dog kisses her 3 times and sits at the bottom of the bed. Smell freshener again. (Brought to her.) Smack the curtains to ensure no one is in them? Call for mommy, if shes home. This is it. EVERY night. She does not EVER forget any of these steps. To say my daughter is OCD is an understatement as this has been her routine for a while now. I bet you like yours a little bit better now? Jessica
