Alright, here the official wording: We were fourteen years old, freshmen in high-school when we decided to start going out officially. We were all but a couple in name, and wanted to welch the rumors. After a decade of fun, craziness, a Seth, cars?, college, laughter, and just putting up with each others shenanigans, we finally brought together our families and friends to partake in a beautifully chaotic secret wedding in the middle of a double birthday party. Sometimes it was awkward, the whole time it was awesome. But we did it. And it was totally a reflection of us, and our personalities. We have to apologize for anyone who couldnt make it or wasnt invited. For the sake of time and distance, we thought it easier for some. In one years time, we will be having a religious ceremony for everyone. This time official and planned and whatnot. We would also like to extend massive thank yous to all the people behind the scenes. Some knew the secret, most didnt. But thank you for keeping it. It made this all the more special. Our mothers ran interference. The DJ, our Photographer, food prep, people prep, balloon prep, you guys were amazing. The biggest shout out of all is to Cassandra. This little lady managed to keep a genuinely psychotic situation under wraps, keep everyones heads on their shoulders, coordinate everything, and still look killer doing it. I mean, she managed to get a JP in less than 24 hours before the ceremony. This COULD NOT have happened without you hun, and we are forever grateful. (Lots of fun stories about how this almost didnt happen abound. Theyll be trickling out eventually.) And finally, we did want to make two things OFFICIALLY known. Firstly, it may be long, but I am Kataryna Z. Hoscilo-Smith. Not just a Hoscilo, not just a Smith. I am both. And I am proud of that. And secondly, riding on the two most prevalent guesses on what the whole secret was for the ceremony... Since we did not announce that we were already married obviously, we are NOT pregnant. Yet.
