Alright, my awesome folks. Thinking specifically of Humera, Amy, Linda, Linda, Paula, Hector, and Becky here, because this is the kind of question that perhaps doesnt drive them crazy, but if you happen to know, Id love an answer. Arweins Robe is similar to a chimere, a cross between an ecclesiastic gown and an academic university dress garment. It designates rank, but at Corwyn, unlike in the states, all faculty wear them while teaching. Junior faculty members are all crimson; senior faculty members are crimson with a vertical black band overlying the zipper, which is in front and encircling the neck and hem and at the cuffs. Arweins also has white piping and a narrow white band. They all also earn black embroidered symbols as they gain Master status in their fields. Ergo, Arweins has lots of black embroidered symbols with white (and gold on his dress Robe) thread outlining them. Now, my question is this. Arwein, at heart, is an arrogant little Demi-Angel. He has lots of these Robes. He also lives in the Snowdonia mountains of Wales, and it does get cold in the winter, and in the summer, its nice and warm. But hes always got these bloody Robes on, because heaven forfend that he should go without people knowing from a distance that he is the Arwein. So. The black bit is in velvet, but what would be a good light cloth for the red bit? Thanks! J
