Alright peeps, we gots a problem here. Were all acting like a Hobbit thats gone without his second breakfast for too long. This club is for people who love all things Tolkien. But we seem to all have to prove a point. That the version we like is better. Certain theories are disputed and argued with. But the plain and simple truth is......ITS ALL TOLKIEN!!! How about group discussions instead of The Council of the Ring at Rivendell? We as a group are a fellowship. Do not let the evil that exists in this world work its way into our thoughts and corrupt our minds. We bond together, we unite under the same trait. Do you all know that The Lord of The Rings was based on the Bible? And that Tolkien was friends with C.S. Lewis? I think Tolkien wrote LOTR for the same reason Lewis did. To tell the story of the Bible in a way that children could understand. And to teach the world of the evil that exists and the good acts that can keep it at bay. If Tolkien could see us today, hed think, Boy, these people havent gained one thing from my books. We must put aside our own differences and quarrels, and master our urges. Heres a suggestion. How about, whenever we have a disagreement within our fellowship, we either message, or have a group chat (depending on the number of people involved). Then, it gets sorted out privately, and we dont make fools of ourselves in front of everyone.
