Alright people, seeing as though Eid for today is coming to a close (for some anyway) and everyone is proper milking it with the Mubarak messages on facebook (and even the people that have come out from their annual cryogenic preservation just to say Eid Mubarak to me), I do genuinely hope that everyone enjoyed this day within the blessed halal means alHamdulillah, and have taken this opportunity to maintain ties with their family and friends, and worship Allah where possible. We are back now with some pressing issues at hand, major problems to solve, solutions to be provided, scholarly positions to be examined and dawah to be undertaken both in the cyberworld and of course on the ground. Facebook Disclosure: It needs to be mentioned, I apologise to those (brothers and sisters) that may find my posts annoying or non beneficial (either because you dont understand them, have no sense of humour at all, are apolitical or pro status quo, or that you have worked to embody a faultless unblemished character and therefore find my posts maybe unsuitable for your taqwa) I do remind you that the button is there to press at anytime you wish. This button for me though, is the naseeha message button :) as I dislike that anyone should leave abruptly. However, since we do not live in an idealistic world (and Id like to blame secular liberal values for that) if this process still doesnt help how you feel, then sadly you have a choice to fold your arms and not be my facebook fwend anymore and subsequently there will be a bold process for you to take to seal this feeling. (Basically click unfriend on the top right) As for the posts I put up in general, they are there to be discussed and contributed to, especially if you disagree with them. If they are not material that can be discussed like a funny statement or a joke or a meme, then you may continue to scroll down and find it in yourself not to complain. Of course, if you believe that theyre relevant to you in anyway then please do contribute inshaAllah. You may have noticed, I do have styles that many may not actually find congruent with their robotic ethos on Facebook, or their impenetrable FB persona that they are somewhat forced to maintain. If you are happy with any posts then you may interact and contribute, and if not then I suppose you may continue to scroll down to a post that is to your liking. Other than that, and now that the all important heart to heart moment is over, and the counselling session and disclosure has come to an end lol, lets get the ball rolling inshaAllah.
