Since verified celebrities are exempt from the name-change rule, I think its nonsense that someone who has already been on Drag Race can keep her page, but a nobody queen like me has to change it. Ive been on Facebook for almost 10 years (just a year after it started), and Ive had Violets profile for 5 and a half years. I was being very polite, starting a fanpage, beginning a transition on my own, setting things up to move peacefully in preparation for a warning Email. But when I woke up to being locked out of my account with no alert or communication? No maam. Sign this and share it please to allow not just me, but trans people, victims of abuse, and anyone who needs the security of JUST A LITTLE privacy, to use the identity they choose. And before you pass this over, I know a LOT of you are using your middle names, which falls under this heading too, so you better sign.
