Alright so Im hoping my Jeep build come tax season will be this Gladiator pictured here. It is a 68 or a 69 model year 5000lbs GVW Cab & Chassis truck. Has the factory front Dana 44 front axle in it and factory what appears to be a rear Dana 44 axle. Rear axle not confirmed due to various flying stinging insects living in the gas tank right next to the axle. I have a pretty good idea of what I want to do to the truck for my build, I just want to hear ideas from everyone else. I will start off by saying it will have a Chevy 350 with a 4 bbl offroad carb. Behind the 350 there will be a Muncie 465 trans. Those will come from donor trucks and hopefully the same donor truck. Sheet metal I probably wont be doing much with right now. Itll be registered as antique and they dont really care on antiques. Tires will be about a 32 and will be narrower tires. More than likely I will only lock the rear axle with a lunchbox. I will not use Ford axles under the truck. Other than what I have just specified give me ideas. The truck will be a more budget build. Truck as it sits right now is basically a stripped out truck that was at one time years ago hauled to where it is from a Jeep boneyard. Heres a few pictures.
