Alright, so heres my Top 10 book list in no particular order. Thanks Nilima and Pooja. 1. Bhagvad Gita As It Is, translated by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (Probably the biggest influence of my life) 2. Freedom at Midnight by Larry Collins and Dominique Lapierre (What a gem of a book! Probably the most researched book (700 kgs of material I think) Ive ever read. A wonderful tale on Indias freedom and after-effects) 3. The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger (A pure delight) 4. Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky (No words) 5. The Fountainhead & Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand (The entire work of Ayn Rand is a big influence, though she borders on lunacy sometimes) 6. India Unbound by Gurcharan Das ( A simple yet beautiful book on how Indias politico-economy shaped up. Recommended to everyone in high school or just entering college. 7. The Great Gatsby F. Scott Fitzgerald (Dont even know why I like this book so much. One of those books I just enjoyed reading) 8. Animal Farm by George Orwell (What allegorical satire! Havent read 1984 yet (I know!) so reserving my comments) 9. The Hungry Tide by Amitav Ghosh (Dont read fiction much but this book - just wow! ) 10. A Brief History Of Time by Stephen Hawking Most of the people have already been nominated. Nevertheless, Ill nominate Dhwiti, Tarun, Bhavesh, Parasharan Chari sir, and Hitesh Devalia sir.
