Alright so most people want to stay lean during summer, but its also the time we get the most lazy with our training an diet: Be aware of the days your going to have a calorie blow out - christmas functions, christmas day. Chances are your not going to pass up that second serving of desert or say no to a few more red wines, so reduce your calories (eat alot less then usual) a day or two before an after an that will help even out any damage done on those days. Drink a few green teas or black coffees throughout the day (the jurys still out on that one, but I believe it keeps me leaner.) Get up in the mornings an do cardio. I recommend this to almost all my clients, an whether your on holidays or business as usual, it really is the best way to start your day, an it burns fat like crazy. Drink plenty of water an if you havent switch to bottled or filtered water. Dont drop your current training program until January sometime, if your like most people your eating an drinking way more then usual right now so why would you train less then usual. I see it every year broken over weight people coming back to the gym in the new year from doing this. At the end of the day, enjoy this time of year, be happy, relax a little. Because when your stressed out an miserable it makes it hard for your body to burn fat, build muslce and be full of energy. Fittsy xo .
