Alright yall, so I have been waiting to post this for some crazy fear that reality isnt so, but while ever so cliche, I must say with hard work, perseverance and a support system that rocks, this week one of my 3 most precious dreams has come to fruition. For those of you who have followed us, a year ago Jerika Bolen and I were at an all time low after over a year of relentless worsening pain she was experiencing and only those closest to us truly know how desperate that situation was and what it had done to me was inexplicable. As strong as I was all these years after countless hospitalizations, procedures and months of more and more pain meds I thought I was losing my girl. It took everything in me to maintain a job just to pay the bills when I truly didnt want to leave her side not knowing how much longer she would be here with me. Well-my lil lady is thriving and a soon to be 7th grader. I dont have words to describe how proud I am of her for all she has endured and know she fought so hard just for me. She has given me the strength to fight for myself again and I am proud to say that yesterday I stepped foot on the floor in the hospital I had fallen in love with 3 years ago while finishing up my nursing degree. I have TONs to review and learn, but I know I got this. So if you so wish you can now refer to me as Jen, RN, Neuro/IMU #godisgood #1down2togo
