Alright, you with more wealth than sense (This is a quantifiable break-point, anyone could pass it) - Not that any of you are actually going to read this but: I dont want your money. I am not jealous of your house staff, multiple retreats, private jet, or any of the perks of being filthy rich. Even if you gave away all of your money, you would just replace you... with another you. So, big surprise, my problem is the ridiculous level to which you hold sway over other human beings. That you can hire a thousand people (as a minor example, some of you could afford orders of magnitude more) to do even one simple thing is more power than any one person should ever hold. Here is the thing: the power of a person should come from respect they garner for their virtues. Be those virtues intelligence, capability, gentility, honorability, selflessness, or any other whatever that people can think of - money is patently NOT on that list. I am against the fact that money is what people want, and if you have it you have power. It doesnt matter if you deserve power, want power, need power, or were even granted power. The fact is that by having a physical (or electronic) thing you have power. This is ethically wrong. Now, pause for a moment, take a breath and ask yourself: Why is this ethically wrong?
