Also have news from Namibia on Mtoti: Charlie reports she and Mark are busy with a full camp, even had a marriage proposal the other day. She also reports: "Well she continues to go from strength to strength...suckles with wiggling and “Gughghuhuhu” enthusiasm taking anything between 75 to 150ml milk formula at a time. Eyes open fully yesterday the 2nd July fully and as Rita says the hand movements increased as if she discovered something, eye sight still very poor. She climbs out of our box so when not under supervision it is placed on the soft bed to avoid any injury should she fall out. Thunzi (puppy) adores her new chew toy which we control even though Mtoti does not seem to mind, we keep telling Thunzi just wait till she is mobile and stronger you will get payback for sure. We have taught Thunzi who is only an 8 week puppy to wait on her cushion at our feet we call it Thunzi in waiting, until Mtoti has finished her “Toti-bottie”, then afterwards she can get up for a cuddle with Mtoti which she does after every feed."
