Also, keep in mind if you please Mr. Justin Trudeau that the ”middle class” IS RAPIDLY SHRINKING. There might not actually be much of one by the time the next federal election arrives. It seems a lot of the middle class’s jobs have moved to where the air-conditioning is less expensive. Others of the middle class, pursuing alternative life styles, and still in a working mode, seem to have joined the ranks of the working poor. They apparently don’t vote. They say: “I don’t vote”. Still others have become the “forced into retirement” middle-aged and joined the older pensioners. Incidentally, none of them have any money to speak of. They all say: “I have NO MONEY”. I suppose that leaves only the ambitious, hard working reasonably wealthy and the ambitious, hard working or not so hard working very wealthy. So, you might have to adjust your message to a totally different target market other than the middle class Justin. Incidentally, all those “teenagers” working in “fast food joints” that conservative economists speak of and dismiss along with the idea of raising minimum wage? Well, they have college diplomas and university degrees now and they are in their late twenties and thirties. Some fiesty ones are even in their forties and fifties. – I guess that’s something Jason Kenney, Jim Flaherty and Stephen Harper and the economists they know and listen to haven’t noticed the last couple of times any of them dropped into a burger joint for a coffee and a donut.
