Also late last night we took in these three BIG Saanen boys (wethers). Meet Gary, Grant, and Gregg! They are all approx 1 1/2 yrs old, and the lady was desperate to keep them all together, as they are a totally bonded trio and grew up together. They have been escaping constantly and causing a bit of a nuisance with neighbours, so very sadly she has decided she can no longer keep them. They are also big goats, as with all Saanens, but they are very sweet and tame, and we have heaps of experience with handling goats. If you are able to adopt them TOGETHER, they will be looking for a section that has very secure fencing, and they are also used to being tethered for short periods and moved often. We had just cleared our big goat pen in readiness for sowing new grass, but we put them in our empty pen overnight and they did not escape. This morning they were all there together, and happily munched on hay and goat pellets. We are happy to hold them here until we find the right home, and they will be subject to signing our adoption forms, clearly stating they are NOT to be used for meat purposes. Also to deter those wanting free goats, they carry an adoption fee of $60 each, so we are looking for serious owners, and are rehoming as PETS only! and we require a photo of where they will be staying If you would like to sponsor them whilst they are in our care, to help with their feeding costs, you can by donating to LARA Rescue 03-0355-0631960-000 Reference 3Gs
