Also, question: As I understand it, Ted Cruz is a big champion of defunding Obamacare and when he lost his battle, he (among others) allowed most of the government to go without funding. This caused a shutdown. It was KNOWN from the beginning that this would affect National Parks and Monuments. It is not a shock that they are closed. They were closed the last time this happened. So where the hell does he get off spouting off a a rally to have them reopened that this is all Obamas political ploy and yadda yadda? Obama is no saint, but a shutdown is a shutdown. If he really wanted them reopened, he shouldnt be marching on the Mall, he should be on the Hill doing his job. He, and the rest of Congress, can reopen the Parks and Monuments whenever they like. Many of them just seem to rather want to yell at the president and crash rallies and make vainglorious and ridiculous speeches. All just steps from the one place they can ACTUALLY do any bit of good, if they chose to.
