Method: Cut the Ivy Gourd/Dondakay/Kovakai as shown in pic and pressure cook the Ivy Gourd/Dondakay/Kovakai with salt,1 tbsp of oil and little water upto 2 /3 whistles. Dry roast the red chilies and cumin seeds and transfer the contents into a mixer and make a fine powder, To that add onions and make a fine paste (Does not require water) Once pressure cooked transfer the contents to a wide pan so that the excess water is evaporated, now add the blended paste to it and mix well so that the paste gets applied to all Ivy Gourd/Dondakay/Kovakai.
