Alta Point is the biggest scam mental health providers to ever hit Mobile and Baldwin Counties. Its no wonder Judge Davis wants Doctors to testify. I can tell you stories from clients that will make you sick. This Corporation not only takes State , County and clients insurance money but charge poor clients a 25.00 fee up front. I personally saw a bill of a client who was charged 208.00 when he was depressed and was bilked for calling the Alta Point Crisis Suicide Hotline. Another one of their clients was probated from the Foley Jail for observation and medication at East Point, when the observation of 6 days was over, he was to be returned to the Foley Jail. East Point staff failed to contact the Foley PD to return him to the jail and let him walk free with no bond, no medication nada for a man who is schizophrenic. Last I heard this man skipped out of state.
