Althing Results – Long and important, please read! To the best of the knowledge of the Monarchy at the time, the Althing held on 3 May 2014 did meet quorum and was held in person for items 1 through 4. Prior to items 5 and 6 being discussed, quorum was lost and the Althing was concluded. {EDIT: Complete results with details will be posted with the minutes, as soon as they are properly formatted. The short answer on results: Q1(Should W.E. v8 votes count with ours?) Pass Q2(Should N.W. vote yes on v8?) With the W.E. votes, Pass Q3(Corpora - Withdrawn) Q4(Autocrat punishment) Fail} HOWEVER - The issue has been raised by a number of members that the citizenry list used was invalid, claiming to have paid dues and not having been included. The Monarchy believes the following to be the most fair and equitable course of action in this situation: 1- An audit of the books in question will be conducted this coming weekend to determine the validity of this claim. 2- Should the audit find that the members who raised the issue were NOT paid citizens at the time of the Althing, the results of the physical votes will stand. 3- Should the audit find that the members who raised the issue were indeed dues paid citizens, the record submitted for use as quorum will be deemed invalid and the proposals will be sent to distributed voting as an emergency Althing two weeks after the close of the audit, per the minimum required notice by corpora. We will, at this time, move forward with voting on items 5 and 6, in distributed format. Local chancellors: attached to this post, please find the ballot (2 per page) for items 5 and 6, in .pdf format. As per the corpora, chancellors will begin accepting ballots on Friday, 9 May 2014. Citizens may vote with their local chancellors until 23:59 on Sunday, 18 May 2014. Chancellors shall transmit results to me by private Facebook message or email (darryljwillis@gmail) by 23:59 on Tuesday, 20 May 2014.
