Although I accomplished a lot today at home, I was devastated from what I witnessed today after assisting one of my Church members in checking on an elderly man in Pratt city this evening !, what I experienced was unbelievable and sad, we knocked on his door and announced who we were and our purpose for our visit, the elderly gentleman was so humble and greatful because we stopped by and was offering our help and assistance with his living conditions, it was heartbreaking that this man has a case worker that has failed to do her job and leave him living in these awful conditions, he said she is based out of city hall or courthouse, I promised him we wont rest until he gets the help and assistance he needs , I immediately started making calls and contacting the people I know that are representing the city in assisting situations like this, I thank God for Mrs.Bessie Bailey for all she is doing to help this man , I am also assisting her in supplying his immediate needs ! , this should never have happened, no water , very limited heat and terrible huge holes on ceilings in which was never repaired since 2011 tornado , the caseworker and contractors should be ashamed and reprimanded for their inhumane actions concerning this Gentleman, but the fight has just begun!, I pray God directs us in the right paths to change this extreme situation! Unbearable! We will be going back tomorrow, but Monday Im gonna find and make known whose accountable for this!, and I will definitely get fox6 involved!!!! City hall , Im on my way monday!! This case worker will not be celebrating thanksgiving until this is done!!
