Although I am pissed big time about the falkland island situation, sometimes you have to forgive and forget. A lot of what that was, is the manifestation of military dictator policies to promote a feeling of nationalism in Argentina, public relations move to try to counter the growing disgust the Argentinian people had to the atrocities committed by the dictatorship, a way to change the national conversation in a sense, and it worked to a small extent. That explains the timing. Sometimes it is better to forgive and forget, rarely in my case, but still. And I do think the islands belong to Argentina by the way, but I will lift my life long travel boycott of England in the near future.
