Although I am practicing Qigong for many hours each day, rarely - TopicsExpress

Although I am practicing Qigong for many hours each day, rarely will anyone here among my circle of fellow practitioners talk about qi. In my experience, among martial artists in China the more someone discusses qi, the less their internal power seems to be and if theyre brave enough to step onto an objective platform of investigation, they get thrown to the mat. From this, a habit has sprung up that when others are expounding the flow of winds in the the channels, I shall be busy training in meditation. Qi is not a word from my language, so why confuse things by using it? That said, below is a good summary video of qigong, using the ancient jargon, but making it clear how things are paralleled in science. What do you think? Should we even be using words like qi, lung, prana or life-force energy? How does it serve the practitioner? I can do meditation, and get all of the benefits, without mentioning qi at all. https://youtube/watch?v=CPl8JNxSYIY
