Although I did not Know Jenny personally, I instead knew her as an answer to my prayers. There was so many times I remember putting Esther to bed at Sanyu and praying over her to be adopted by someone who would truly love and care for her. I loved Esther dearly and although I loved seeing and loving on her each trip, every time I came back to Uganda a part of me was so worried she would not find a permanent family. So I would continually pray over sweet little Esther. Jenny Groothuis was my answer to my many prayers. And after hearing that Esther had went home to be with Jenny and her family, I remember being so incredibly happy and full of praise for my answer to prayer. God is so faithful. I was much saddened to hear that Jenny has passed away. Although I know she is in a better place and I dont always understand how or why God does things the way that he does, I hold on to the fact that He is faithful. My prayers now are turned again to Esther along with her many brothers and sisters, for Jenny was a mom of many, some birth children and some adopted but all one family and her husband who are grieving right now over the loss of a wonderful mother and friend. - I never got a chance to say thank you for being an answer to my prayer.
