Although I have every sympathy for families who have suffered loss of loved ones in conflict abroad, I find it unacceptable that the MOD (the government) is going to end up being sued for millions for soldiers being killed in action due to i.e. Landrovers not being armed, excuse me but helicopters and planes are not armed, body armour is not infallible, where do you stop, with the utmost respect, everyone who joins the forces are well aware they are putting themselves at risk of serious injury or ultimately death, does this mean that all the troops ever killed in action have families entitled to a claim??? The worlds gone mad!!
