Although I only had the opportunity to play with this artist only once, I am truly grateful to have made her acquaintance. As there were plans for her to become the fifth member my group, Since When?, she decided to return to her native homeland to pursue her musical career and has certainly enjoyed well deserved success in Japan. While responding to her recent received an invitation to attend one of her shows in Japan but unfortunately cannot attend (the NYC MTA system only goes as far as the west side of Manhattan), I had the opportunity to hear one of her original works entitled A Flower on the Lake and was moved by its beauty, sensitivity and subdued passion. Hence, I share with you, my FB friends the artistry and beauty of Ms. Yuka Sasaki as she performs the aforementioned composition, A Flower on the Lake! P.S. Although we both share the same birthday, I wish I also shared some of her exceptional creative talent as both musician and composer!
