Although I originally promised myself I would not post something like this out on Facebook, I feel that it is now time. Our mother, Ruth Morgan, has been quite ill lately and spent the greater part of the last two weeks in the hospital. While she has put up a valiant battle against her cancer for twelve years, (and continues to have a spirit like none other) I write this with a heavy heart, knowing that her time with us is limited. For those that know and love Ruth I ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers. While we will be excepting no visitors, I ask but one thing: My mother is a huge lover of the snail mail and the written word. If you have a chance to write her a note of love and to let her know you are thinking about her, please do. This way, when we take her home, she will have some surprises in the mailbox to open and look forward to. I know that many of you are miles away, but please know that this small gesture will mean the world to our mom.
