I try like hell to find a reason to consider buying a Ford, Chevy, or Chrysler product as my next vehicle but Im big on the companies who value safety and engineering quality first, for a purchase that is long term and a dangerous thing to do with.....driving.....with all the hasty, butt riding, bad drivers America has. Volkswagen is my #2 only because I like German labor laws....but it will take at least a decade of comparable quality from VW to knock Honda/Acura from the pedistal I have them on. And when I say comparable quality, VW, I mean long term.....not that silly 100,000 mile claim you have.....triple that mileage like Honda and I wont laugh at your commercials. Heres a thought, Chevy/Ford/Chrysler....prove we dont need federal regulations for safety by being responsible instead of greedy and hasty about your product without blaming the unions (UAW).
