Although big food manufacturers can operate at a profit in Europe, where GMO ingredients are banned and labeling is mandatory, those big food companies are secretly fighting for a national law that would ban labeling GMO ingredients and ban states from passing laws to label foods. Can you imagine if they did that with nuts as an ingredient? But many people have or are developing life-threatening allergies to some GMO foods. People deserve to know what they are eating.
